Event Details
This comprehensive, 5-day series supports elementary level principals in improving their school's readiness and the alignment of policies and practices across the birth-to-age eight learning continuum. Developed in partnership between the Minnesota Elementary School Principals’ Association and the Minnesota Department of Education, this series will cover a range of topics to help principals and their team members prepare strong Prek-3 programs in their schools.
Each session is designed for a principal and a team member to attend depending on the session focus. See individual day descriptions for details.
You must register for Day 1 (October 29) in order to be registered for ALL 5 days of this PreK-3 Series. No single day registrations are available.
Day 1: Embracing and learning the P3 learning continuum When: Thursday, October 29 Who: Principal, their superintendent, and School Readiness coordinator (3 ppl total)
Day 2: Ensuring high quality learning environments and teaching When: Monday, December 7 Who: Principal and their curriculum director / instructional leader (2 ppl total)
Day 3: Using multiple measures to guide growth in early learning When: Monday, January 11Who: Principal and their curriculum director / instructional leader (2 ppl total)
Day 4: Providing personalized, blended learning environments When: Wednesday, March 2 Who: Principal and their curriculum director / instructional leader (2 ppl total)
Day 5: Building professional capacity and making your school a hub of P3 learning When: Thursday, April 28 Who: All team members - Principal, superintendent, School Readiness coordinator, and the curriculum director / instructional leader (4 ppl total)
If a team member cannot attend the recommended day, principals are welcome to bring a different team member in their place.
