Build your leadership team to suit your needs!
This series is the third part in a professional learning series designed to support MN schools, communities & districts with implementing effective, comprehensive PreK-3 systems. In partnership, MESPA, MASA and the Minnesota Department of Education have created the series.
This series focuses on taking action. Led by Michael Fullan and Joanne Quinn, it is designed to build the knowledge and skills needed to foster greater coherence and capacity to implement effective, sustained PreK-3 systems in Minnesota schools, districts, and communities.
Who should attend this series?Teams must be led by a Superintendent (or other core district leader) and must have a principal on the team as well. Other core district instructional leaders (such as Special Ed. Directors, Curriculum and Instruction Coordinators, Assistant Superintendents, Assistant Principals, and more!) and community early learning administrators are welcome and encouraged to attend. Unless in a position of leadership, this series would not benefit teachers.
How to register Teams should be registered under the superintendent's name. A team must consist of a superintendent and a principal. Other teammates can be added within the registration for $200 per person (only $50/day). If you have more than 8 teammates total, please contact Rachel Miller (rachel@mespa.net) to register.
Series contentThis series is based on Coherence: The Right Drivers in Action for Schools, Districts and Systems by Michael Fullan & Joanne Quinn. Superintendent-led leadership teams will progress from analysis to action, achieving coherence in four areas:
