Is Responsibility-Centered Discipline for your school? Join Larry Thompson for a virtual Q&A and learn how the RCD model can transform your school and empower your students.

Designed for busy principals to gather more info on the RCD model without the need for a full day's commitment. Join us to hear from founder Larry Thompson and get a chance to learn more and ask questions about RCD.

The Responsibility-Centered Discipline (RCD) model was developed to help schools break free from the traditional "obedience model," to train educators and school leaders how to respond to disruptive and spiraling situations, and to empower students to take responsibility for their own actions. Schools often struggle to achieve lasting change in student behavior because students do not feel responsible for their own actions and, instead, find ways to project the responsibility for their behavior onto others. Often students elect to choose a handy exit off the road to responsibility. RCD training provides a framework for shifting the burden of ownership back to students—promoting lasting change and greater learning.

“RCD completely changed my school. In the first year, it reduced the total number of written office referrals from teachers to three, and we eliminated detention. RCD is the best practical, real-world solution that works – on the toughest issues that schools face.”
Chris Trostad, Principal, Crookston Public Schools

“I had numerous staff, both veteran and new, say it's the best professional development they've ever received around student behaviors, building relationships, and giving them tools they feel can help keep kids in their classroom more and not have to send them out for help.”
Kenny Newby, Principal, Forest Lake Area Schools

“I hardly see kids about behavior issues anymore. It’s been great to see the transformation and to see teachers building relationships with students they had trouble with in the past.”
Aaron Hungerholt, Principal, LeRoy-Ostrander Public School
