Meet with legislators and share your opinions on policy
Attend committee meetings to learn what's going on in education policy
Go on a Capitol tour led by Roger Aronson—you've never seen the Minnesota State Capitol like this!

Who should attend?All MESPA members are invited to attend this event.

Schedule The schedule is as follows:

8:45am - Convene in the Senate Office Building first floor lobby, north of capitol on University Ave

10:00am - Attend House Education Finance Committee Meeting, 120 capitol. Agenda: 1) Policy Bill 2) Reading Proposal

12:30pm - Convene in State office building, have lunch (provided) and meet guests

1:45pm After lunch (included), get a personal tour of the Capitol building from Roger Aronson himself!

Getting to the Capitol
Please meet us at the Senate Office Building in the first floor lobby. The Senate Office Building is north of the Capitol Building on University Avenue. To see a map of all office buildings and parking options at the State Capitol, click here. We encourage coordinating carpools!
