Gain practical skills in utilizing letters of expectation, reprimands, and suspension, as well as mastering the art of conducting thorough and compliant employee investigations. This session will also help you stay abreast of best practices in hiring.

Presenter: 

Chris Picha serves as the Human Resources Director in the Owatonna Public Schools.  In addition to Chris' many years of HR experience both in the private sector and in school districts, she is also an attorney. Chris' extensive experience in both the private sector and school districts has equipped her with a holistic understanding of workforce dynamics. Her legal background adds a layer of precision to her work, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Continuous Feedback: Discover the significance of ongoing feedback and how it contributes to employee development. Learn the importance of providing constructive criticism and positive reinforcement.

Learn to compile thorough letters of closure and written reports with findings and recommendations.
