Strengthen Core Instruction

(Tier 1)

High-quality, evidence-based instruction is the foundation of student success. This workshop will help principals and teachers refine their Tier 1 strategies to ensure all students receive effective, differentiated instruction that meets their needs.

Enhance Targeted Interventions

(Tier 2)

Learn how to identify students who need additional support and implement targeted interventions that prevent learning gaps from widening. This training will provide actionable strategies to improve student outcomes before they require more intensive services.

Data-Driven Culture

Effective MTSS implementation requires a team-based approach. This training will equip educators with the tools to analyze student data, make informed decisions, and create a structured support system that benefits all learners.

Come for the Morning, Afternoon or All Day

Participants can choose to attend:

the morning session on strengthening Tier 1 instruction to better support staff and students,
the afternoon session on Tier 2 to identify gaps and enhance interventions,
or stay for the full day to gain a comprehensive approach to MTSS.

Whether you join for one or both sessions, you'll leave with practical strategies to ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive.

Morning: 8-11:30am

Tier 1

Foster a positive and supportive environment for both students and staff using an MTSS model

Implement best practices for adult self-care in school settings around Tier 1

Enhance social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes to drive academic and life success

Equip teachers with tools to support students' social-emotional development and behavior

Improve overall academic engagement and achievement

Afternoon: 12:30-4pm

Tier 2

Learn tools and strategies to assist students and staff around Tier 2

Explore classroom best practices around Tier 2 Whole Child Interventions (Academic, SEL, Behavior Health and Mental Health)

Develop a school-wide process to assist all families around MTSS Tier 2

Facilitator

Curt Slater has worked in the U.S public school system for the past 30 years as a paraprofessional, teacher, dean of students, associate principal, and principal (2018 National Distinguished Principal). As the co-founder of TILL360 Consulting, Curt now partners with school districts all around the country to support nurturing, positive and engaging environments that support staff, students, families, and communities. Curt lives in Andover, Minnesota with his wonderful wife and three amazing kids. Outside of the office Curt enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and watching his kids play sports.
